Poly Expanded Styrene (PEX)This is the newest material to come on the market in response to the problems with Poly. It is expensive but supposed to be good. I see it in the home improvement places but have not worked with it enough to say much about it. I understand it is popular in colder climates where freezing is more of a problem because it can freeze without damage. |
