This
is the white plastic pipe sold in every home improvement center in the world and used by
the mile for underground sprinkler systems,. water supply lines etc. The important
fact to remember is that it can not be used for hot water lines. The
heat weakens it to the point it can not handle the pressure found in normal domestic water
systems. It is easy to work with, can be cut with a hacksaw, or tubing
cutter and is easily solvent welded. Since it is so popular a multitude of
fittings and connectors are easily available and cheap. If you at all careful with
how you glue the joints you should never have a leak.
